What time does the show begin?
Doors open at 7 AM, judging begins promptly at 8 AM and goes until about 5 PM when the Best Dog in the Show is selected.
What about the Agility seen on TV?
There will be two rings with Agility in progress from 7 AM until all dogs have competed.
What is the admission?
Admission is $8 per adult; Seniors are $6.00; Children 4-11 are $4.00 each;
Children under 4 enter Free.
The IX Center is owned by the City of Cleveland and will collect $8 per vehicle. This fee is not a part of the Crown Classic Dog Shows.
Food and Beverages may not be brought into the IX Center. Food and Beverages are available for purchase at the IX Center.
Handicapped entry is available at the West Entrance. Wheelchairs are available for those in need.
Can I bring my own dog to see the other dogs? - No, only dogs entered in the shows are permitted.
What days are the Beagles or any breed shown?
The breeds are shown on all 4 days. Please check the schedule for the time of every breed.
What times is “Meet the Breed”.... Fri, Sat, Sun10 to 2
What will I see at the show?
Probably 165 different breeds of purebred dogs. There are no "Designer dogs", such as Labradoodles or Shih-Poos. Only dogs registered with the American Kennel Club are exhibited at AKC dog shows. NEW this year are AKC registered mixed breed dogs that are entered in Agility, obedience and rally obedience competitions.
Can I purchase a dog at the show?
No dogs are "For Sale". You may, however, make contact with an exhibitor who may have puppies or dogs for sale at home.
What about Rescue dogs?
There will be representatives from several local rescue groups who can tell you of dogs they are caring for who need new good homes due to their owners’ circumstances such as illnesses, whom are no longer able to care for them.
Can I purchase gifts for my dog?
Yes, there will be many vendors offering dog supplies, art, equipment, toys for your shopping pleasure.
